I wear my Fitbit all the time, I like to be tracking my calories but some times when I charge it and forget to put it back on, I feel like I missed a fair amount of calories and feels kind of disappointed even though I know my body still responding to the work out.

Welcome to the Community forums, @mrs.oleary!
Yes, I know that feeling as well, although I try to log my calories and workouts manually when I forget to put on the device, I always feel feel like I missed something 😅
But the important thing is not stay as consistent as possible and keep your eyes on the goal. As you mentioned, the body is definitely still responding to the work out! 😁

I have driven home to get my fitbit when I have accidently forgotten it. If I don't see it, in my head it didn't happen. We are very strange creatures.

Hi everybody. Nice to see you all around.
I share with all of you the feeling of missing something when not wearing my Fitbit.
First I had to get used to wear a watch again, as I haven't used one since the early 2000's. But now I miss the reminders to move whenever I leave home without my tracker.
@mrs.oleary A small tip, you can always use the Fitbit app (MobileTrack) to track your steps in case you forgot to bring the Fitbit with you . This might help you to have a better overview of the burned calories during the day. This might show a very approximate of them depending on the steps tracked by your phone. Just remember to remove the feature of the app whenever you wear your Fitbit so that the data of your phone doesn't conflict, with the one tracked by your Fitbit.
See you all around.
