Which is more correct non dom or dom wrist

HI ppl when I got my fitbit charge hr in the new yr I wore it on my non dominant wrist and although I was losing weight my calorie burned seem low I'm 31 5f 4 inch female my bmr sits around 1400 to 1500 some sites are different figures my job is standing and walking around and I do excercise each night 10 or 15 mins either hula joggin etc my steps where 5000 to 8000 depending and my dialy calorie est burn was 1600 but always burn about 1800 to 2000, so cut story short I swapped my fitbit to my dominant wrist yesterday and now my readings are very different my steps today are 11000 and so far my calorie burn is on 1850 est by midnight 2225 , the only different thing I've done is change wrists and eat abit more
Protein in my diet , now which figure do I go with my non dominant that seemed low or my dominant that seems to good to be true

There is a setting for whether you are wearing it on your dominant hand or not. I think nondominant probably is better, only because you will probably get fewer "false" steps that way. But make sure your setting agrees with the wrist you are using. Go to the gear symbol in the upper right of the dashboard, choose "settings" and then "device". You have to scroll down a little to see it.

Hi I was wearing it on my non dominant wrist but readings seems way to low so now I swapped to dominant and the steps seem to high but calorie burn seems more fitting on my dominant wrist than non dominant, so I might keep wearing it on dominant and ignore step total not worried bot that as long as my calorie burn is ok , like I said it's seems more correct for calories on my dominant wrist

Actually I found it more accurate when I changed the setting. I wear it on my Dominate arm but the setting is set to Non-Dominate. Works better for many people

Thanks for input Wendy I might give that a go had it on left wrisk but calorie seemed low my basic bmr is 1400 and was burning roughly 1800 to 1900 seemed low so then this last week I swapped to right wrist and changed setting to dom hand and calorie burn seems to fit in with my lifestyle around 2225 burn but steps quite high prob coz I work checkouts and move the arm all the time , maybe I'll keep it on the right wrisk but set it to non dom and see how it goes , did you notice if your calorie burn decreased when you switched the setting to non dom but kept it on dom hand

Its been a long time since I changed and I really dont remember if the Calorie burn was different.

It was just more accurate with steps

I've mostly worn it on the dominant wrist, but non-dominant more as I'm right handed and using that hand if I'm going back and forth with my arm aggressively it triggers steps. Like petting your dog and belly rubs counts as 100 steps.

Thanks all for suggestions I've tested all aspects and it's seems best and more accurate is worn on my dominant hand but changed the setting to non dominant this seems to give me more accurate results
