Why does FB change the weight I enter? Ex: enter 150, shows as 149.9

It seems that any time I enter my weight, fitbit changes it ever so slightly.  As an example, if I enter 150 lbs it will show up as 149.9?  Is anyone else getting this?

Yes, I get this too.  I've been wondering the same thing and was going to post the same question.

Same issue, although not recently.  Posted it in an old forum, but never got a solution.

I can't figure out where to enter my updated weight.  I entered it when I first setup, created a goal, but now I can't find where to enter a weekly update of my weight.  Can you help?

I just think it is a formula that Fitbit uses. If you don't log your weight every day I think it tries to break up your weight difference over the week. But I am not sure of that.

You could try weighing yourself every day and see if it makes a difference.

Go to Log, then Weight. Scroll to bottom of the page.

Make sure you are on the correct day... or that you put the correct date in when you log it. Once before I was on a previous day but entered weight for current date... and was confused why I didn't see that Fitbit logged the weight. Finally realized that I was on the wrong day... so when I went to the current day I could see the weight entry that I made.

the weight i enter on my phone frequently and instantly changes by .1 or even .2 pounds and sometimes it even says a different value when i look at my dashboard.  i can correct it on my dashboard and that seems to stay accurate, but may still show up incorrect on my phone.  i've contacted support, but have not received a solution.  this has happened on two different android phones (htc evo 4g lte and samsung galaxy note 3).  perhaps an issue with the android app?  had a friend test on her iphone and her correct weight displayed on both her iphone and dashboard.

I wonder if the weight when entered is converted to grams or another small number.  Then when you see it on the screen, they are converting to pounds or stones or kg or whatever.  When they do this, there's some loss in precision.

Conversion to KG which is actually used in all formulas, BMR, walking calories, ect.

Converted back to lbs for display. Happen to be at a weight where you see that conversion inaccuracy.
