I'm with you. I have that much to lose also. I am 55yrs old, soon to be 56 and getting ready for my son's wedding next month...excited. Have lost 18 pds thus far and continuing to push it. Switched up my exercising opting for some water classes due to pain in my foot. Glad to have you aboard.

Hi! I am much older than you and trying to lose 80 lbs. I have been logging many steps in an effort to jump-start weight loss--about 10,000+ per day. I'd love to support you if you'll support me! 😉

Hi there! For the most part, I eat healthy. That does not mean I do not enjoy some dark chocolate (my kryptonite) or corn chips and ice cream. I do so moderately. I have to keep cholestrol in check. I have cut down on bread and cheeses, which I love, and try to fill up on my favorite sauteed or grill veggies. I recently discovered fresh squeezed orange juice and watermelon smoothie is slammin. I mostly eat chicken and fish (salmon, tilapia). Maybe once every couple of months I'll enjoy a good steak with veggies. Portions is key. I hope this helps some. Oh yeah, and moving, a lot.

Congrats on making this important decision to drop those pounds! I'm 105lbs lighter today than I was a year ago. No food out there tastes as good as being fit and healthy feels. Stick with it and stay motivated!

Kudos to you!!!! Keep up the good work. I find the more active I am the easier it is to control my weight. I love to eat and I keep it as healthy as possible. I do a 25-30 min. of cardio 2-3 times a week, 1-2 strenghth training, (love Body beast). For the summer, I invested in a decent Trek mountain bike. Some hiking. (The Poconos Mountains) Love my fitbit!
