Working hard on no results

I have 40 lbs to lose to get in the safe range for my body as I currently have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and in the obese range for my size.  I have been doing T25 5 days a week for 7 weeks now, drinking Zija in the am before working out, drinking lots of water, and eating around 1200 calories and lost 7lbs within that time then it stopped.  4 weeks ago I added a second workout for the day consisting of a 2 mile walk or cardio workout on top of the T25 workout along with starting Plexis drink and accelerator in the am and began a more focused calorie count diet and still was not seeing any results on the scales or in my clothes.  2 weeks ago I began a healthy diet program with more protein still eating 1200 calories, Metablend which is a metabolism booster and I actually work out 3 times a day on some days.  I have only managed to lose an additonal pounds and still no chane in my clothes.  I have had my thyroid tested and it is normal.  Some say I am not eating enough calories for the working out but I feel like I should still be seeing results somewhere.  An average day is oatmeal and 2 egg whites for breakfast, apple for morning snack, turkey on wheat bread and brocolli with light ranch for dinner, almonds for afternoon snack, a protein and cooked vegetables for dinner.  I take in around 1200 calories and I am burning between 2400 - 3000 a day.  Just looking for some advice.

Are you counting the add-ins to your foods.  You know those pesky things like: butter, oil, sugar, sweetner, salt, etc?   Have you measured your body?  Are your clothes fitting differently?  Maybe, you don't need to lose as much as you think.

Personally, I wish I weighed what I did when I thought I was fat.

Thanks for the reply Steff. I am counting add-ins to my foods. I have measured and I am not losing inches maybe a small difference. Clothes are not fitting differently. I do need to lose. I am in the obese range for my height. I have never had this much trouble losing weight and size. I am more active, eating healthier, and doing all the right things now more than I have before.

I personally don't think you are getting enough calories for the amount of activity you do. I find that I lose more when I eat higher calories. I eat between a range of 1300-1800 each day. This is my first month using Fitbit to track my calories and activities and I have lost 10 lbs. so far. My advice would be to switch it up every couple of days and see what happens. Stagger higher calorie days between lower calorie ones. Our bodies need fuel and the activity you are doing is pretty instense. Lower calories seem to work better when you are not getting much activity.

Thanks julbsh70 for the input. I have been told that but it just seems unreal to not be eating enough. I guess that is my next option other than slowing down the workouts!

Its a good idea to eat back many of your calories.  Just don't do it with simple carbs, you can actually increase belly fat while you lose weight.

Just a thought...

I thought I would share this bit of information that I have used and it has helped me tremendously...

Now, first off, everybodys' body is different, so not guaranteeing this would work but I wanted to share what has helped me.

I have been taking 1500mg of Garcinia Gambogia everyday for months now and since I started taking it in conjunction with a healthy diet, and exercise since mid-November of 2013, I have lost almost 60 pounds. Most of the weight though was lost in the first few months, but slowly and surely I keep losing more and more and more....

I hope this helps... best of luck 🙂

Sincerely,

Andrew

Andrew where do you get yours? Is it available at GNC?

Lewis,

I purchase it at The Vitamin Shoppe, but I'm sure you can also get it at GNC; although you would probably be paying top dollar for it. I bought mine for $16.99 +/- and I would recommend getting the liquid form of it...much more potent and extremely beneficial for your body.

Take care,

Andrew

I know how you feel, I have been doing similar for over six months with NO LOSS, so frustrating. I has a saliva test and it appears my adrenal glands are stressed which is stopping any weight loss as it affects all of your hormones. So now I am working on that. Don't give up and don't over do the exercise. Be kind to yourself and keep fit biting.
