adding exercises

I have looked around and prehaps i've missed it or maybe it's not available. When i do daily workouts, for instance yesterday i did arms today i did abs. Is there anyway for Fitbit to detect that i was doing excessive activity besides my extra steps i was taking in the gym? I try to create my own log and label them "arms", "legs", "abs" etc, but i have no idea what calories i burned. I'm a little bummed that walking, swimming, biking, are the only ones that will track and it's also weird that walking can be added since the fitbit already tracks that. I did treadmill yesterday and thought i had to add it to my activity and it just doubled up my logged time from steps. Hopefully this is right forum for this topic. I'm pretty new to the community, thank you

Hi  @chett41. Fitbit really only tracks step-based actvitites. Many people use an app/website called MyFitnessPal to track other activities. The two (Fitbit and MFP) can be linked so that your activities logged on MFP will pop up on Fitbit. There is even a MFP group for 'Fitbitters' here.
