calorie confusion

Hi there.
So I am 26 and have been using my fitbit for a while and I guess I never understood my calories. I have it set to moderate weight loss.... Does the fitbjt give me a total I can eat in a day and still lose that 1.5 lbs or say I burn 3300 in a day does that mean I have to eat 1000 calories less a day?
I've been not active a few days and got a total of say 2600. Does that mean I should be at 2000 or should I always eat what I burn to still lose weight.
Thanks in advance.

Fitbit will automatically factor in what you set for your weight loss per week goal. For me, that's a 750 calorie deficit per day. So if I burn 2,750 calories in a day, Fitbit will tell me to eat about 2,000 calories for that day. Fitbit does all the math for you as the day goes on, no need to eat less calories than what Fitbit tells you to eat.
