calories in versus calories out

My calories in versus calories out states i am over, but my food plan says I have calories left

I think I have it figured out...I think the calories left is based on your average calories burned for the day. The dashboard calories in vs. out meter shows where you are currently in the day (not the estimated average for the day - so as you burn more, the meter will shift).
