Did you mean:

calories on app dashboard and pc dashboard and MFP don't match?

I synced my MFP account to log food more easily, and it changed my goal to 2500 cal. I want to lose 10-15 pounds, but my intake is higher because I am nursing. When I view my fitbit app, it says I am over calories, but I'm only around halfway through. Logging in on a computer, it says I am under budget. How can I get these to match?

Suggest first don't try to take 2 roads to the same goal.

Use Fitbit for daily burn and exercise goals.

Use MFP for food logging and eating goals.

The only thing Fitbit reports to MFP is total daily burned.

MFP compares that to what it was estimating very roughly, and uses the more correct daily burn.

You have positive and negative adjustments, that's all you need.

It then removes the deficit needed to reach your weight loss goal amount.

You get adjusted eating level to cause that.

Just pay attention to your adjusted eating goals on MFP, and meet them.

Ignore the eating goals on Fitbit. You can get them close, but they will always be a tad off and confusing and unnecessary.

Forget the whole budget thing, as that is merely that exact point in time, and usually not that useful in the end, like the day. If you want to look at 2 things, look at total eaten and total burned. Leave 250 between them like MFP is doing.

Hope you selected 1/2 lb weekly with so little to lose.

Here's a good idea I heard some use.

Set weight loss goal to maintain - on both sites.

Let nursing being your deficit, so don't log it, don't account for it, don't make it up.

And as should correctly happen, you'll have less deficit as time goes on when you have less to lose, right?
