can fitbit worn while swiming

hi , i am new to this . i am obese , i depend on swimming rather then exercise as my body cant support it,.. i would like to know whether fitbit device can be worn while swimming..

It depends on which fitbit model you have. The One, Force and Zip should not be worn whilst swimming. The Flex though is water resistant up to 10 meters.
