Ya, if anyone says you gained muscle that fast supposedly eating at a deficit doing cardio - they don't know what they are talking about and like repeating feel good phrases.
Because indeed - it ain't going to happen.
So you increased your exercise in that time, and that's been the only change?
Well, and of course working harder you would be burning more so eating more too. Hopefully - if following the program correctly.
If indeed just exercise, you could have increased your stress level enough that cortisol in constantly raised now and you are retaining water.
And indeed even more so if you aren't eating more though doing more.
But let me understand, you lost 4 kg in a month, and have another 4 kg to go.
But that means you lost almost 2 lbs weekly - which is extreme deficit for only having 8 kg total to lose to healthy weight.
So talk about a stress on your body.
You should be at the smallest deficit now that Fitbit allows, and meetig your goal. And if this is non-HR model, you should be manually logging that rowing since it's not step-based exercise and likely underestimated calorie burn.
The less you have to lose, the slower the loss should be to avoid that stress.
In other words, you should keep eating closer and closer to maintenance as you get closer to healthy goal weight.
And 2lbs weekly was never reasonable for you, you started out stessful.

Don't know what you eat - every calorie in (and the kind of calorie) will make a difference.
There may also be other reasons, like too much salt intake, etc.

Need more info on diet and weight really to understand what's going on.
2.1kg can be gained in 12 days quite easily, particularly if you already started with a shredded body and came off a robust meal plan and onto high simle carbs, sugard and fats without EFAs.
However, I'm struggling a little with the 6 pack as that immediately suggests your body fat percentage is between 7-10%, which makes it a little difficult to imagine where another 4kg weight loss could come from (unless you've been seriously bulking for muscle gains).

Six packs come for some at 11-15%, but then you need to be in the right category.

I workout with weights and do mostly cardio - running,hiking,bikeing,etc... My supplement coach put me on a strict calorie intake because he knows my goal is to lose weight (50lbs.)... He was adamant about eating what you want (cake, banana splits, good ole high calorie Mexican dishes etc.) ONCE a week ONLY... The fact is your body will adapt to any calorie regime you go on no matter how strict your fuel intake or workouts may be... Eating (splurging) once a week throws a wrench into our bodies adaptation mechanism and will prevent the process from happening... 😉
