Or other low-fat/no fat yogurt, it doesn't HAVE to be Greek although I have to say that is the variety I favor - but watch out for excessively sweetened/sugary premixed with fruit type. Read the label! I like to get plain and add my own frut then throw some "Grape Nuts" on top for some crunch, yum. I also just had some split pea soup with uncured ham - pretty tasty and fits the low fat/decent protein bill. Again, read the label, not all brands are created equal

1. Chicken Breast (26 grams protein in 3 oz filet)

2. Lowfat (1% cottage cheese, 24 grams protein in 6 oz)

3. Salmon (21.62  grams protein in 3 oz filet)

4. White Tuna (20.08 grams protein in 3 oz)

5 Nonfat plain Greek Yogurt (18 grams protein in 6 oz container)

Salmon has fat, but it is a healthy fat. Try to keep your diet 1/3 fat, 1/3 protein, 1/3 carbohydrate. Avoid any fad diets that tell you fat is bad, or carbs are bad. You need all of them: carbs to fuel your workout and proteins after your workout.

My fitbit profile is public, including the foods I eat. Look at my diet for examples of how to eat.
