Hi There, I'm new to this fitbit community and am looking for a friend to help keep me motivated.
I'm going to be 50 and have 50 lbs to lose.
Any takers?

To add people, click their name (next to a post) then once there click the link that says "view profile". From there you can click the add as friend button to add them.

Thanks for telling me how to add friends. Couldn't seem to get it right on my own.

Me too. Got the fitbit flex couple of weeks ago. I am getting my steps in , but not losing any weight, & I so hungry late night. Would like to have some friends .

Are you still looking for friends? I've been using my fitbit for a few weeks and think friends might be great motivation.

hi everyone. I'm new to fitbit and posts. I'd really appreciate learning about the best ways to stay motivated, keep honest when logging food intake, but most of all, encouragement for each other to enjoy our weight loss journey. Friends would be a great motivation! I enjoy reading about others success stories.

Friends are the best motivation!! Even when I get a smiley face or I send them to people myself... it kind of makes me pumped all day! Sounds silly... but it works!! Feel free to add me! Good luck everyone!

Hey there everyone! Welcome to the Fitbit Family, I'm sure you'll find plenty of members who are on the same path as yours.
If I may give a couple accountability tips, follow your food plan as a guide and make sure you write down your meals as soon as you are about to get them; this will prevent the moment where you are holding your food log and remembering how much you ate and underestimating amounts. I have a tiny notebook where I write down the meals and their weight, so when I'm ready to write them down, they are accurate.
Get a food scale and measure everything. Increase your water intake and find different sources or variations for the meals you love that won't take a hit on your caloric budget.
Have a rest day! Enjoy your food and don't miss out on the oportunity to eat different.
Good luck!
