I'm 5ft 7inch. How much water do I need to drink a day. I weigh in 169. Need to lose 20.

The default is 64 ounces, which is eight glasses of eight ounces. That is what is suggested by the medical community. Everyone is different though. People who work outside in the heat, are very active, run or exercise a lot will probably drink more. People less active, might not drink as much.
64 ounces is probably about right for most of us. The log on the dashboard makes it easy to keep track of it.

64 oz if you are counting all liquids is really easy to achieve. Personally for me I shoot for half my body wieght in ozs. so for you weighing 169 you would aim for 84.5 oz. per day.

@galaxy747 also remember depending on your nutrients for the day you may need to drink more water. I personally have found if I have a lot of sodium one day because I ate packaged meals and/or ate out I need to drink more water. This also helps flush out the additional sodium intake.
