Hi sherrystrole, I am starting today and I am planning to add pilate the dvd I have 45mins. it is good stretch and will reduce the pain of the insanity. I am also going to go swimming once a week.

I used to do it insanity 6 days a week and I lost every week 3kg including cutting bread and pasta but I was having cheating day that was a year ago. In terms of exercising and struggling to see on the scale

It could be the calorie intake or if you are exercising early morning do you eat anything before hand. The reason I am asking is I have watched this show called trust me I am a Doctor and the test they have done proved women need to eat before exercise. I agree with you early morning exercise and I am planning to do it my insanity in the morning but before I do it I will have protein shake consist 91caloies I will drink 1/2 of it and wait about 30mins before exercising then I will drink other half after finishing the workout. In terms food I eat everthing except junk food and sugar in my tea. check the food you are eating the calorie intake of your day and wokout you are doing calorie burned. I have started to be aware of what I eat about 11 days now  because I was eating all the time, I feel my jeans is lose and I have to pick up all the time, my coat feels lose also. my waist is smaller and not bloated anymore. I am not hungary anymore because I eat food fills me up. I will be apdating my food intake and my exercising once I settle with my routine.  I dont weigh myself but I move more than before with my fitbit. Once I ware it encaurages me to move more. I hope it helps. Lets share tips and help each other to achieve. I have 35pounds to lose by June I am up for anything to do with food and workout.

Hi all, I have had rough week still trying to figure out how to pass through and continue or restart my insanity. I am having pain on my legs and whenever I'm jumping I have been experiencing, so I researched it and come a cross lots of people are going through the same and some of them bought crossfit Reebok trainers and they have been able to continue. Crossfit gives durability comfortable with protection it has gel inside it. I went to sports direct and they had it on sale similar to crossfit Reebok £27.99. It is called the brand name Reebok your flexible. It is so comfortable and no pain. I am going to use it tommorow for my insanity workout. I am thinking to restart the whole week 1.
I will share how I feel after workout.
Keep the good work going.

Hi all I have seen my gp doctor and I have been told totally I cannot exercise until they know what is wrong with me. So I now have to go through different blood tests, I want so much to move around, I am going to do juicing and boiled vegs. walk as much as I can to get healthy and shed the pounds.

Does your doctor think there is something going on other than sports injury or muscle/tendon soreness?  I don't want to discourage you from a doctor's advice but in general if I feel uncomfortable soreness I switch to another exercise.   It's really best to cross-train so you aren't getting your joints or tendons into danger.  I have been doing a lot of stairs since I got my fitbit and it's too much on one of my side calves so I am switching up the walking/running and stairs with cycling which is totally 100% comfortable for my calf (but my sadle is another story.)

Anyways, see if you can safely do some swimming, biking or something else that won't irritate whatever soreness you have for a few days.
