Fajitas Chicken . Ditch the sour cream and Guacamole.

But go to the resturant site first and see if they list the NI. Most resturants do now. Or find one that does and you can also get a good Idea.

I like places that have pescado (fish) in some sort of salsa.  It's usually served with rice, but I keep that to a minimum -- too many carbohydrates for a diabetic -- and fish tacos are a good choice for someone on a low cal, low carb diet.  Avoid all the cheese and sour cream that's in so many Mexican dishes, and stick to things that are grilled, and served with fresh veggies, like fajitas.  Almost any kind of restaurant can have good, healthy choices, if you do the research ahead of time, you can find them easily.

ummmm....ditch the food and have an extra margarita??!!  :))

Seriously, though, I get the chicken fajitas and lots of salsa.  Push the chip basket as far away as possible or just put 10 on a napkin and that's it.
