My calories in vs out says I am over when I have taken in less than burned. I don't understand how it works, please help

It goes by the calories needed to lose the amount per week you set it at. If you set it to lose 2 lbs per week it will show over if you don't a have 750 cal deficit. You can also set the daily calories to sedentary or use an average for you.

It's a daily total. You can see your weekly one under reports and monthly shows under the log.
