new to me gifted fitbit charge

Hi All,

 

My Mother recently bought me a fitbit charge so im new to this, still trying to work it out as well.

id like some friends to challenge i have 40 kgs to lose or 88 lbs to those that cant work on metric.

 

also would love some tips, hints and any kind of valuable information on food and training excersizes if possible.

Wow, almost 25,000 steps on your first day, that's impressive!

The beauty of Fitbit is you don't have to do any particular exercises: walking is just fine. If you were mostly sedentary until now, reaching 10k daily steps on average should go a long way towards your weight loss goal.

i wish this was acknoledgeable it was a stuff up being a traveled home this day and all bumps from the car ride home got to it i couldnt reset it either

@cesmiester77: you should be able to manually cancel the undue steps by logging an activity with zero steps for the time of your ride.

 

If you find yourself in the same situation on a regular basis and you have an Android smartphone, there's an app called DriveBit (by Little Bytes Software) that will let you cancel these fake steps.
