recommended calories

ANSWERED

I got a message on my dashboard asking if my training plan was too difficult. However, when I clicked on suggestions, it suggested that instead of 960 calories, I have only 550 calories. Can that possibly be correct? I'm burning (theoretically) about 1600 calories/day.

I'm don't know what you're referring to. I don't have a food plan. Just logging what I eat. I've already lost 10 lbs in about 2 months, and I'm eating lots less than I expend. I do housework and try to walk at least 40 minutes a day; I am not meeting my VAM goal, but am not sure how to do that. I was just surprised that my "trainer" had me down for 940 calories a day (which I don't think is a lot fo calories) and then, after asking if my plan was "too aggressive" (not sure what that meant), seemed to cut my calorie allocation in half.

Okay, I just figured it out. The "trainer" was recommending 946 activity calories/day, and changed it to 550, based on my activity level, so it wasn't telling me to eat less, it was suggesting that my goal was set too high. Thanks for replying.
