There are two ways to lose weight - decrease the calories you consume (eat less) or increase the calories you use (more activity). If you don't want to change your diet (calories you consume), you will need to increase your activity (walk more, bike more, lift more weights, ect).

Sure, just use up more calories than you take in. Easy peasy.

I see you state in your profile you’re "just looking to move more in life". Very worthy goal to have, and often the reason why people get a Fitbit. While it’s possible to lose weight by "out-exercising" your diet (the replies you already got are correct, it’s all about burning more calories than you’re consuming), you may find you’ll have to move a lot more than you think in order to achieve that goal, if your current diet is far from optimal (e.g. includes a lot of processed/junk food). So a more efficient approach may be to increase your activity, while improving your diet at the same time. Changes in your diet can be incremental, no need to change everything at once.
If your goal is losing weight, focus on your diet, and view exercising / physical activity primarily as a way to improve your health, fitness and well-being, rather than as the main driver of your weight loss.

If you fall into the "normal metabolic range", as there is no medical reasons for your weight issues, then you only control about 30% daily calorie expenditure. Most of the calorie burn is your BMR. I can only lose weight by reducing caloric intake.
