First off, let me tell you that you are not alone. This is a long & frustrating journey filled with ups, downs & plateaus.

Here's my story; I started losing weight in October of last year. My willpower was untouchable. I went 6 months straight without a single slip-up, not one day over my calorie allowance. I had lost 49 pounds, I was on top of the world! Literally nothing could break my focus.. until I came down with the flu and didn't eat for a few days. When i finally got out of bed, I decided that the entire box of powdered donuts on the kitchen table was my right, i had "earned it" (or whatever). I housed that box of donuts like I'd never seen food before in my life. Just like that, my spirit was broken. I went on a bender. I ate everything in sight. I had no self-control. And that's the way it stayed, more or less, until just last week. That's nearly three months that i was spiraling out of control.

I was lucky. I only gained back maybe 6 or 7 pounds. I knew in my head that i was only hurting myself, but no matter how hard i tried i could only stay "back on track" for maybe two days at a time. I've gone back to something that has worked for me in the past (meal replacement shakes, twice a day & a normal dinner) and so far it has kept me back on the wagon. As of today, I am only a single pound away from my pre-bender weight.

You absolutely CAN get back on the wagon. Just find something that works for you & stick to it! Take every experience, good or bad, and learn from it. You'll find your mojo - if i can do it, you can do it.  Don't give up!
