Did you mean:

work out vs calories eaten

I work out at night. Before my work out I have eaten my needed calories. After my workout I have earned more calories. I don't need to eat more do I?

You don't need to eat more.  The over/under scale isn't really useful for those of us that work out in the afternoons and burn a big percentage of our calories in the later part of the day.  Over time you will see it will balance out over the week.

If you are severly restricting calories (under 1100 calories for most people)  then you probably should make sure you are getting over 1100 on most days.

Only if you want to create an even bigger deficit than perhaps an unreasonable one you already have and the whole thing backfires in the long run.

Your bodies desire for those calories doesn't magically stop at midnight, eat them the next morning then.

Or actually, what's wrong with eating after the workout? Sets you up better right then for the next day and doing another workout.

Considering those are calories burned purely for mechanical movement during the workout, not even what the body would like to use to repair with later, figure out a way to follow the smart method - fuel your workouts.
