Just my personal thoughts…not weighing is really not an option for any of us. If you have a scale that you like (I do realize that you may not always like what it reads) you can stick with it, input the data manually, and save some dough.

Now, if you want to get a ballpark estimate of your lean vs body fat weight, the Aria can do that, and it can sync with your Fitbit data by using the wireless network in your home. Also, you can have up to 8 users on the Aria, and you can protect the information so that each person only sees what they weigh.

Having said all of that…I bought the Aria. And it's very nice and stylish, and I found the spot on the bathroom floor where I weigh the least and all of that. And I had a period of about 4 weeks where my weight didn't change. Not one ounce. In fact, it actually went up a couple of pounds! In the past, I'd become totally frustrated at that point, thrown in the towel, felt sorry for myself and consumed an entire box of Hostess Ding-Dongs in the process.

But not this time!! It was because I was still losing fat, but gaining lean body weight from the workouts I'd been doing! And without a way to measure both lean and fat weight, I would never have known it. I'm glad to say that I've since re-started the total weight loss, minus the fat and with maintained lean body weight. Aria helped me see that.

Hope this helps!!

Personally I bought the scale and like that it syncs up on here. Other than  that, the body fat can be misleading if you are dehydrated. Seeing the scale go up and down on a chart is motivating and helps me understand the relationship between my hard workouts and weight loss.

Should it be 100 dollars, probably not, but thats just my opinion.
