Can't delete period. Help!

Please help.  I have been using the app for 2 years and suddenly, I cannot delete a period.  When you press the pencil icon to edit a period, I do not have the option to Delete it, only to Save or Cancel  My app is up to date.   My last cycle started 10/6 and my predictor was off my over 2 weeks (it's always 27 days) so I tapped something and I now the apps shows I have a period starting 10/17,  but it's not true and I cannot delete it!  My cycle started last night, but it's showing the 27th and nothing I do will fix this.  Please advise.

I've been struggling with this as well!  I've used the app for a long time (switching from Clue because I liked the visual report of symptoms during the cycle).  But, for the last two months it has gone crazy!  It keeps telling me I recorded results of an ovulation test when I didn't, won't let me edit predicted periods, thinks my cycle is 54 days and counting, added an extra period this month that I can't delete.  I'm getting so frustrated that I'm thinking of going back to Clue and try to get them to offer the visual representation of the cycle.
