Sometimes simply rebooting your device can help resolve temporary issues. If you have access to another device, try installing and running the app on that device. If the problem persists, the problem may be with the app and not yours.
Sorry, I can’t help, but I’m also having this problem. I think it maybe an app issue as, like you, I’ve done a bunch of troubleshooting and can’t get past the ‘log or edit period’ button when it crashes.
It is driving me mad - when I click to edit because it says my period has started and I need to say it didn’t yet, I try to scroll up to get to the first day then all the data disappears and won’t come back. App updated, exit, restart etc. just yet another rubbish change since the move to Google!!!
