Female Health difficulties to log and edit periods

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi everyone! I am having trouble with the Female Health app and tracking my cycle. I am perimenopausal and had my cycle for 3 days last week. I now have my cycle again this week (ugg). However, when I try to log this week's cycle it keeps connecting to last week's cycle and it looks like I've had my period for 9 days now. I can't seem to log this week separately. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep them separated? Also, is there a way to add the Female Health option to the dashboard if you are using a computer? I thought it might be easier to add that way but I can't find the Female Health app when I'm on a PC. thanks!

HI there @KellyTM, welcome to the Community Forums.

If a period doesn’t meet the following requirements, you may receive an error and be unable to log the period:

  • You can only add or edit current or past periods and details.
  • A period must be at least 1 day.
  • You can log a period of up to 60 days (on Windows 10 devices, the maximum is 10 days). If your period is longer, consider logging flow intensity details.
  • A cycle must be at least 11 days, and there must be a gap of at least 1 day between logged periods. If you experience a gap in bleeding during your period, it’s still 1 period.

Note that If you attempt to log a period in the future or a period with less than a one-day gap between periods, the pencil icon is unavailable. If you don’t see the pencil icon, make sure the period you’re attempting to log or edit meets all of the requirements.

You can find more detailed information at: How do I use the Fitbit app to track my period?

In regards to have Female Health on your computer, this feature is available exclusively in the Fitbit app for iOS, Windows, and Android. Your female health data will not be available on your dashboard through Fitbit.com.
