Female Health not working Charge 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got my Charge 3 today, everything is working fine, except the Female Health option. When I click on it, it just doesn't open. I've start re-opening the app and, logging out and logging in, restarting my iphone but it just doesn't work. It's one of the things why I bought this charge 3 so I would really like it to work.

Any suggestions?

Welcome on board @Laur.dem, it's nice to see a new member around! Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this inconvenience, nice way to go!

Please make sure you both are updated to the latest app version - 2.82 for iOS. If you are, let's try the following:

  • Log out from your Fitbit app
  • Force quit the app
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit app
  • Sync
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app

I've moved your post to the Female Health Tracking as there are more chances to get related replies here.

Hope this helps, I'll be around. Keep me posted!

I solved it by changing the language of my phone from Dutch to English!

Thanks for the reply!

I am having the same issue - I just got my new Charge 3, all is working except the Female Health Tracking (which was a problem with my Alta, but eventually was fixed with some updates to Fitbit & logging out & back in again. I have checked & I have the latest version of Fitbit (2.82) and I have followed the logging out / Bluetooth off, phone off etc actions as well as deleting the app & reinstalling it but it still crashes the app when I try to click on the tile. Language on my Fitbit is already English. Any ideas?

I'm glad to hear that your issue was solved @Laur.dem! Thanks for sharing what worked for you. Smiley Very Happy

Thanks for jumping in here @Minitat! Sorry to hear you're still having inconveniences with the Female Health Tile. So we can see where the issue is coming from, I was wondering if by now you can test the Female Health Tile using another phone? Let's see if the app crashes too. Also, let me know if the phone you'll use is an iOS or Android.

Looking forward to your response!

Many thanks for coming back to me so quickly. I have an iPhone. Unfortunately I do not have another phone so can't try the test recommended below 😞

Update: Good news - this morning I went back into the app & the female health tile is working 🙂

1 question - is there a plan to include this in the computer based dashboard tiles so that if the phone app crashes people could still review / update on their computer?

Great news @MinitatSmiley Very Happy I'm glad to hear that the Female Health Tile is working fine now. Thanks for sharing the outcome!

On the other hand, this feature is available exclusively in the Fitbit app for iOS, Windows, and Android. Your female health data will not be available on your dashboard through Fitbit.com.

If you are interested, please take a look if you haven't already. For anything else you would like to see implemented in this feature for the future, consider visiting our Feature Suggestions board. I'm having this problem with my charge 2. Whenever I hit the women's health tile the app crashes on my android phone. Everything else works! Any suggestions please?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Gm12345! Sorry to hear that your Fitbit app is crashing on your Android phone.

I'm wondering if the app is installed on the internal storage of your phone or is it located in the external storage. This option might depend of the version of Android, however if the app is in the external storage it may present this type of crashes.

Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone one more time. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again. Also, please make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-dateCat Very Happy

I would recommend to repeat the process to log out, in case that it is still crashing out;  restart your phone and try again. If the issue persist would you mind sharing with us your Android OS and Fitbit app version.

Looking forward to your response.

Hello @Gm12345, thanks for coming back! No my friend, what is already synced to your Fitbit app won't be lost.

However, before doing what I suggested, I'd recommend syncing your device to save what you've been tracking throughout the day.

I'm looking forward to your response. 😊

Hi, I'm also having this issue with my Charge 2 and the Fitbit app (it seemed to start after the new look update but hasn't been fixed by subsequent updates).

I'm using the app on a Galaxy S9, Android version 9 and the the Fitbit app is up to date. I've tried the fix you recommended below but it didn't work for me.

My other issue since the new look on the app is that I can't seem to find where to reset my silent alarms now. The only way I've been able to do it is by logging into the dashboard which is a bit annoying. Can you let me know how to do this via the app as that was so quick and easy before? Thanks

Welcome to the Community Forums @Swim74. The alarms can be found by following the steps below:

  1. Tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Silent Alarms > Set a New Alarm.
  3. Set the alarm time and frequency, and save.

In regards to the Female Health Tile, thanks for letting us know about this issue on Android and iOS platforms. We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.

We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Please let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you in the meantime.

Thanks so much for the reply. That's so good to know how to set the alarms
in the new look app (and sorry, not sure how I missed it.... I thought I'd
looked everywhere!).

Fingers crossed you find a fix for the Female Health issue soon as it's
really useful.

Thanks again for your help.

My Fitbit shows I’ve to log a period. However I have logged 2 months now and it’s not showing as logged. No predictions show either on the calendar, like the pink or blue. Can someone please advise ? Everything is up to date, tried uninstalling, logging out. Phone on/off. Bluetooth etc.

thanks

Having same issue on latest version of Fitbit on Android for a Versa 2. I can see every few months someone complains this feature isn't working and it's not even available on the Web dashboard. This whole feature seems to be an after thought.

I'm an IT engineer. I've tried resetting, reinstalling, turning everything on and off and it simply won't save data.
