Fertility Tracking!

In order to make the female fertility tracking section truly useful, we need to be able to edit our fertile windows. Very few people actually ovulate on day 12 of their cycle, and this prediction doesn’t adjust for having a longer period. There’s an ability to log our cervical fluids, that should in turn adjust our fertility period (with all sorts of disclaimers about how FitBit’s “prediction” isn’t certain and everyone needs to check their own fluids to accurately know). Just like how we can edit the periods, the same should be available fkrIf we can’t customize our own charts (ie fertile window), then it’s not actually tracking female health. Thank you!

This only works if it's implemented really, really well. And that doesn't describe how the menstrual tracker works now, what with its not even allowing you to enter a pregnancy. To be fair, most fertility apps do a bad job of guessing fertile windows, so they have a very poor rate when used for contraception. And such failures mean lawsuits, which many companies are anxious to avoid. Until Fitbit is willing to put in the additional work required to make the menstrual health tracker fully functional and beyond that, really top notch, then I don't want people relying on it to track their fertility, for their own safety. This will become even more important as people lose reproductive rights in the US, which is expected to happen.
