Guess if your cycle isn't regular, Fitbit/Google no longer cares

I have been a loyal Fitbit owner and used the Fitbit menstrual cycle feature for years to track my women's health. I am now in those perimenopausal years where things aren't regulate and wrapped up in a nice pretty cycle bow anymore. It was already frustrating to see how bad Google made the cycle tracking by making it clunky and not easily viewable of my cycle, symptoms, and other notes I may have added. But now I go to mark that I have started my period and it won't let me, saying it is "too close to another recorded cycle" and instructing me to "update or delete my previous cycle." You can't be serious! This feature has truly been my lifeline to my gynecologist with concerns and updates and now I can't even record accurate information. This is incredibly disappointing. Clearly the designers of the new layout don't have uteruses. There are several other smartwatches on the market. When my current fitbit dies, I will be looking elsewhere if the Google women's health features aren't actually geared towards women's health.
