Fitbit Update: 1/22/19
Hey all!
I'm sorry for the late update, but this issue should have been resolved last month in December. There haven't been any new reports about this still occurring now in January so I'm going to take that as confirmation this has been fixed.
I'm now closing this thread. If you see anything new or unexpected happening with Female health tracking, please open a new topic to report.
Thanks, everyone!
Fitbit Update: 11/21/18
Hi everyone!
Our team is aware of an issue where if you have "Show predicted fertility" turned on in your Settings, you may see incorrect period predictions on the FHT tile of your main dashboard.
Your actual period shouldn't start for another few weeks, but the tile may be displaying "X days until next period" which is the wrong number. If this sounds like something you're experiencing, please know we are working on it.
Please follow this thread for updates!

Something I've noticed that has been going on for me for quite a few months now, is the week after I get my period, the Female Tracking resets itself and says "1 week to period" (and counts down to one day) even though my period just ended the day before.
Every day after my period for at least a week (up until and including when it thinks I should have a period again) I have to go back and go to my last period, say it was correct and save it. Other wise it predicts I should have a period -with in a week of me having it!
This happened for the last three months now, and every single month it basically is saying I should be having two periods in a row?
And each month I tell it that it's predicted period is incorrect because it's always a week late to when I actually get it. And I've repeatedly told the tracking when the period should be and when it ends.
I've read through other threads and tried their suggestions, -none of which work. I've updated the app to the most current version and I am STILL having this issue.
It's very annoying that for the entire week (sometimes longer) after my actual period I have to go back into the settings and edit it, when it clearly shows on my calendar that I had my period the previous week! The prediction is always incorrect as it always predicts I'm going to have it a week after my last period ended.
The first screen shot is showing what the app thinks my period should be (claiming it's in 3 days) and the next is the calendar showing when it actually was. Both were taken today - November 3rd 2018
Period shows predicted in 3 days
Period shows it is past and should Not be predicted in 3 days.
Please fix this issue!

Hi @BahamasGirl365, nice to see you here!
Thanks for all the steps that you've tried. I understand where you're coming from since you've done this steps every month. Have you tried to turn off predictions and edit the Period and Cycle length? Then you can turn back on the predictions.
I'm taking the feedback and I've passed this information to our team. Sorry for all the inconvenience.
Let me know how it works.

Hello,
yes I have tried that as well. It shows up fine for a few minutes then resets back to the incorrect showing after closing and reopenin the app.
So unfortunately it still didn't work 😞

So my period predictions are correct and show up in pink for December 9th but on the dashboard the countdown is wrong. It’s telling me 5 days until my next period. How do I fix this? TIA

Hi @KristeeP85, welcome to the Forums.
Thanks for reporting this information and for for reaching out the Forums. Can you please check if your Fitbit App is up to date? Also, turn off predictions, force quite the App and then turn it back on. Some users have reported that uninstalling and reinstalling has worked for them, you can also give it a try.
Which country do you live? Can you please send a screenshot of what you can see from your end?
I'll be around.

I have the show "Show predicted fertility" turned OFF (will Not be turning it on any time soon) and I am still getting Incorrect period predictions.
Very annoying.
This is exactly what mine is doing!
My countdown is way off but the calendar itself is showing up wrong.
I've tried the suggestions listed in this thread already and none of them seem to have worked. I also have the fertility predictions turned off (as mentioned above) since they are not relevant to me in any way, and the issue sill appears.
