My period tracker on the fit bit app suddenly stopped working. The day of the calendar shows Oct 89 and the edit button is highlighted in red and I cannot update anything. How can I fix this?

I’m so glad I found this thread. I thought I was losing my mind! I tried deleting the app a few times, I tried to find the latest app update, my app kept freezing and crashing when I would try to scroll through and put any kind of details into my tracker.

completely annoying. And of course it’s as I’m needing to use the tracker and have some strange things going on with my cycle that this happening. Has to be some weird thing going on in the universe.

hope this gets fixed soon. Would’ve been really nice to have received an email or something to let us know something was wrong.

I have the inspire hr model.

thanks

Mine also goes back to my birth date - Jan 1980.

Me too.

Yep! Discovered the same thing. It defaults to my birth month. That’s waaaaaaaay too much scrolling to get to the present day! 🤦‍:female_sign:

On my menstrual cycle calendar it is set for the year that I am born all the sudden and it doesn’t show any records so when I go to my doctor I cannot see any of my period records it still logs for the day correctly but then it disappears and the calendar is 1974

When will this be fixed??? It’s been more than a week!

Best Answer

Same! This has been happening for weeks and Fitbit has known about this for a while now - when is the fix coming?! This is much to long to wait!

Hopefully this is not a case of tech sector de-prioritizing women or
women’s issues as tech developers.

Same issue here! It defaulted back to my birth month when opening and has a weird highlight on the selected day like in your screenshot.

DId you ever end up fixing this? I have the same problem now.

All of a sudden my period calendar opens to 1985 instead of today and I have to scroll allllllll the way down. It used to open to today and you could scroll up or back. Any idea how to fix it?

This happened to me as well. I noticed last night. Mine goes back to 1971.
