Some of your posts have been moved to this thread where the same issue is being discussed and Fitbit Moderators are responding. Look here for any updates. A Fitbit Moderator is an employee of the company and has "Fitbit" at the end of their name.

You can’t. It’s a Fitbit issue. I’ve had it recently and I have a new Fitbit Sense. It sucks. Fitbit is aware of the situation but I’ve seen no results. Hopefully it gets fixed soon! I honestly don’t see a point in having a Fitbit if it’s unable to track what it says it’s tracking. It’s also not tracking floors correctly on the app etc. makes me wonder if I can get back my $300 I spent on this new sense.

I have the same problem - menstrual health calendar not defaulting to current year. Someone in this thread (sorry I clicked over here to reply and now can't find their reply to upvote it) realized it was defaulting to your year of birth. So, I was able to scroll all the way forward to 2021 and current month and then I was able to edit the period again once I got up to present. It didn't work clicking on the pencil icon until I got back up to April 2021. (I had thought it was defaulting to some random year in the future). Anyway, maybe that will work for other folks encountering similar issues not being able to edit your periods.

Fitbit emailed me yesterday, after I had to have a lengthy discussion about it over a chat. (Because they won’t let you email them.) They said they wouldn’t return my Fitbit (even though the features like the mensural cycle aren’t working on their app) and basically said that they are aware of the issue and have been aware of the issue and will continue working on it to fix the problem. Basically saying they don’t know how to fix and if they can fix it, it won’t be for awhile.

This issue has been going on for almost a month now. It’s really unreasonable and unfortunate that Fitbit can’t seem to fix this issue which is effecting all its users who menstruate. Do better Fitbit.

@JuanFitbit roughly when can we expect the app update?
I thought mine was working because it quit crashing outright, but I still can’t edit a period and get it to save. No longer defaulting to birth year.

That’s insane! I’m about ready to throw in the towel already. I cancelled my premium after my inspire HR failed after 11 months and Fitbit wouldn’t replace it because it was a replacement for the inspire HR I bought that failed a couple months after I bought it smh. Premium is only worth it if the devices actually work the way they’re supposed to.
