Just change your birthdate year in the profile. I’m not sure what minimum age is, but push it as close to 2021 as you can. It worked for me

Same problem mine goes back to when I was born

My calendar is set in 1996. I’ve restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, and tried changing settings. I can’t edit anything in my tracker and the calendar is stuck on the year 1996. Getting frustrated enough to just say f-it. I’ve had too many problems with my charge 3 and 4

your posts were merged into this existing thread where others are having the same issue. The Fitbit Moderator @JuanFitbit  posted that this is where updates will be placed.

Same with me, it starts on my birthday March 1972. It is so annoying to scroll almost 50 years. I contacted their support, they are « investigating »... I noticed that it happened since last updates were automatically installed.

Same happening with mine.

Mine is exactly the same and it’s a pain so good to know it’s being worked on! Hopefully we’ll get a solution very soon as it’s only a recent issue

Same here. The fertility portion opens the calendar the month after I was born and I have to scroll to today’s date. Every update has an issue. Very frustrating. These watches aren’t cheap. The app should work. And prior to the update, the fertility portion would freeze and I’d have to reboot the app.

Hello All,

I am having the same issue with my Alta. As of today, I have not found a working solution from Fitbit. I hope a app update is coming soon to correct the problem.

  • My tracking is stuck in 1969. Is anybody else with the same problem

Whenever I open my cycle tracker, it opens to Jul. ‘97, which is when I was born. I sure hope that 1. I am no longer an infant, and 2. I wasn’t having my period when I was born.

Jokes aside, every time I open it, i now have to scroll back up to 2021, which is tedious, unless I have to log symptoms. If I log symptoms, it jumps up to the proper date after I save the update. However, this is a major pain when I just want to check how long until my next start date or whatever else.

In the period app my calendar shows the year 1981 and I have to scroll it down to the current month and year. This is recent and I don’t know how to fix it.

The time and date on my charge 4 is correct, however on the phone it has the right time, no display of the date, and for the women’s health section, it claims that it is the year 1997. How do I fix this major error on the Fitbit app?

I updated the fitbit app software yesterday (6 April 2020) and now my history of periods has been deleted as the dates only start from 2080 now.

It’s as strange as it sounds.

anyone else having this issue?

Best Answer

Yes my history has gone too. I wanted the data on my app for a doctors appointment. When will this be resolved? I know it’s being worked on, but do I need to start logging my info elsewhere now?  I’ve relied on this to keep track of my health.

Hi @JMR15,

I have yet to find a solution to the Women's Health one myself, as I've seen a few posts about this.

However, once you sync your device to your phone, the date on the charger should correct itself, along with the time (which you mentioned is already correct).

Period calendar opens to November of 1991 now instead of the current date. I have the latest version of the Fitbit app (version 3.40.1), it was updated yesterday. I just started having this problem a few days ago.

Please help! So much calendar scrolling to get through just to  enter period dates! 😩
