Is there a way to revert back to the older version of the menstrual tracker. I had an update today and it is awful. It doesn't show you the full month, tell you what day of you cycle it is and no option to add when ovulation actually is. It just assumes everyone ovulated mid cycle. I see no option to add symptoms. Please allow us to revert back to the old version.
Fitbits just seems to be getting worse, First the clock face, then Spotify, the dashboard and now this

This update must have been done by a non-menstruating human. There is no comparison between what was available before, and now. I'm hopeful they can fix things because of feedback.

Please change it back!!! I agree wholeheartedly. Where have the days gone, I used the "day 3" etc ALOT to cross-reference to a cycle. And the format is awful!!!

100% agree. The new update is terrible. Calendar is not interactive and they've removed so many symptoms that were there previously.
It feels like a bunch of people who never had to deal with periods made it. Unfortunately since fitbit is a part of Google now, there's no way Google will pay attention to this. They don't care

I agree totally. I need to know what day I'm on. Irregular cycle means their predictions are never correct but I can work out other aspects of my health based on cycle day. Bring back thr old calendar!

I absolutely agree, what on earth have the developers done with the period tracker?! It's now pretty much unusable and makes no sense. Tracking the symptoms was really useful for me, being in peri-menopause - but now there doesn't seem to be an intuitive way to log details, or even amend dates? This update was clearly written by a man, with zero thought about how and why women actually used the tracker - and I'd love to know whether Fitbit has bothered doing any real user testing on this with women. Thanks Fitbit, you've really messed this up. Just another example of women's health being unimportant/ignored.

If you click on your icon on the top right hand corner in the app there is a feedback option there which should go direct to Google.

I agree with @Margaret182 and everyone else. This new menstrual tracker is the worst! I think it was developed by a man who has no idea what actual women need to see and know about their cycles. I can't even figure out which day my cycle is on without manually counting? An excel spreadsheet is better than this junk. Now I'm going to have to find another app. Please @Fitbit let us have the old one back. I loath this change.

I chatted with someone today via the contact chat to let them know about these horrible changes! I hope more women do the same.

Oh! How did you do that?! Maybe we should all get on to it and give them grief about it.

I just have one question. Why would you want Google to have access to your menstrual cycle information? It's not something I would share in this day and age. Am I missing something?

I found this thread when I saw the period tracker has been updated since my last period. All the links to user feedback pages revert back here. There's no topics about this on the feedback page as to today. Yeah, this update sucks. It's a downgrade. And I will no longer be using fitbit.
My specific complaints about the change are below, but they are beside the point right now. The way fitbit has treated the people here, who have been complaining for a month, with disregard and contempt, is more disgusting to me than a terrible design change. We got one official response in this thread, from an employee(?) who assumed we just didn't know how to navigate the page. All the feedback posts have been canceled. Appalling. They could at least pretend they are listening. Make up an excuse as to why it can't be changed back. Try to sell us on why this is more useful. ANYTHING.
I miss the rolling calendar. Obviously. It was the best part. I used to use a paper calendar to track periods. When I got my first fitbit, nearly a decade ago, I was sold on their period tracking rolling calendar. This new update is basically undoing a decade of progress in visual data representation.
Not being able to see more than 3 months ahead is a problem, because I travel a lot. Including in July, where there is no data at the moment. My period is regular, but this app eliminated having to manually count it all out and did that mental labor for me. Now I'm back to *paper calendars*. Or my phone calendar. Either way, it involves manual entry.
I now have to cross reference the list of symptoms on the bottom of the page with the calendar up top because I am a visual person and would prefer the icons in the calendar and not a list. I could make a list on paper if I wanted that. The icons were an easy visual shorthand. The new calendar doesn't tell me that I have additional symptoms on the days leading up to my period via a dot. This is not adding value.
Smaller complaints: 1) The days of the week being on the bottom of the calendar is just stupid. 2) I'm 35, you can let me close out the massive section of my screen explaining what a period is. 3) Logging a period involves going to a new screen where you select the beginning and end dates from a calendar drop down. I know the drag and drop didn't always work well, but they could have just added a manual entry option to the old system. This is adding 3 more steps to what used to be a 1 step process

This is the 3rd product feedback submitted about the menstrual health tracker update. I wonder if it will be removed and merged into https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Menstrual-Health-Tracking/Menstrual-Health-tracker/td-p/5733589 again?

I am new to this community, do they actually take any of this feedback into consideration? I'm sure it seems small to some but it was a huge change in my world and a big part of me using fit bit to track. It's every day life for me and I was able to see it, adjust my calendar and move on. Now it's a hassle, and may seem small to some but for my life it's big and the simplicity and seeing it straightforward was why I chose to use fit bits feature to begin with instead of paying for a separate app.

Welcome @Wilamina567, there was two previous product feedback features submitted and they were removed, all the comments were just thrown into to https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Menstrual-Health-Tracking/Menstrual-Health-tracker/td-p/5733589 All the likes were lost too.
This new update is awful, they removed the scrollable calender which is such a downgrade. You cant even see what day of your cycle it is! The little dot when you log symptoms is gone and at the bottom it is just filled with text about what period are, the phases and ovulation as if we don't know! Actually crazy! there is no menstrual app without a scrollable calender.
It is so disappointing and disrespectful for all the women who use the tracker for health issues, ttc, menopause etc
Hopefully this post will be seen

I have given feedback via the icon in top right as well and gave link to here. Really hope they listen. Maybe we should all give feedback via that as you say 🙏

@Joby1982 is right, this looks like the only way to get feedback straight to fitbit. I was talking to fitbit support on twitter and they said to create a product feedback, but i said they keep getting deleted and merged into this thread,
Here is what they said back:
Fitbit x: While I get where you're coming from, there isn't a way beyond the product feedback page to get attention for feature suggestions and improvements you may have in mind. Our continuing efforts to improve our products may occasionally mean that some features may be removed or modified in the process, although we're doing our best to take note of the feedback from within the Fitbit Community, so that the teams that help make these changes possible can consider these in their ongoing plans. Thanks as well for openly advocating for yourself and your fellow Fitbit app users who benefit greatly from this feature.
Me: Great so we are at the mercy of the mods who just contain us into a community forum. That's not a good enough answer for me. Just read those comments and see all the customers fitbit are losing. Many women relied daily on this tracker and it been completely ruined with any explanation. That community forum has almost 8k views and nobody at fitbit has seen it?
Fitbit X: I certainly appreciate your sentiments and I hope that improvements are made soon that will help you get the most of the menstrual tracking feature of the Fitbit app. While I'm limited in what I can do at this time, know that we hear you and consider your feedback a valuable guide for us to do better moving forward.
Is amazing how they continuously ignore our concerns.
It actually breaks my heart to seeing how many women are let down by this update. We relied on this tracker daily, for various reasons, some with serious medical issues, other trying to conceive, menopause, women of all stages of life. Disgraceful.
