I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and now I can't log in on the app on my phone. I am starting menopause and have updated the period start date every day for a couple of weeks, but today it wouldn't save and all the previous tracking disappeared right before my eyes.

These directions resolved my issue:

Since your Fitbit app is up to date, we'll try to do some steps that could be helpful:

  • Go to the settings on your phone > Open the option for apps > Select "Fitbit" app > Tap on "Storage" > Select the option that says "Delete/erase cache".
  • Delete and reinstall the App
  • Try to edit your period again

I have logged 3 periods and yet it has continued with one cycle claiming its 80 days long..

Any closer to fixing this yet? I still can't accurately log my menstrual cycles. It's been a few months for this so called "glitch." How much longer?

Best Answer

Same.. Its June now. I'm starting to think they no longer give a **ahem** about the app unles you're a premium member.

Best Answer

I have this issue currently. Was yours ever resolved?

Best Answer

Still broken for me, it's now June. Beyond annoying.

Best Answer

Don't worry, you're not missing out: they don't give any more of an **ahem** about premium members -- I was paying for premium and had this problem, and the premium features are no more reliable than the standard ones.

3 months later, and issue persists. Any updates on a resolution?

Have any of those Fitbit fixes worked? My Fitbit app is still refusing to save the edited dates...why is it a drag and save? Can I please just mark it on the calendar on days I have a period in a checkbox instead? The dragging does not work.

Any update? I'm still having trouble logging details about any particular day.. it won't save?

App is up to date.

Has it been solved yet? I'm still having this issue.

Super annoying.  I'm ready to scrap this fitbit. It's not properly counting my steps either.  Highly annoyed.

  • WT ... Heck... This doesn't make sense. When asked if I got my period today I am given two options. Confirm or Edit.  EDIT DOES NOT EDIT INTO THE FUTURE. It thanks me for my enthusiasm...which I dont have because my period is late, and tells me I cant do what it literally just asked me if I wanted to do.  Making this entire moment in my life is pointless, it should be Confirm or No!

Hello @DaLamp

I believe your question would be better suited here and get more exposure to your particular issue: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Menstrual-Health-Tracking/bd-p/femalehealth

Is there any update on this? It appears to have been an issue for at least 6 months, based on the other posts in this thread. It's getting to a point where I don't trust the data in FitBit anymore.

Thank you so much! This finally fixed the issue for me!

It's July now and this STILL hasn't been fixed. Why is this taking months upon months to fix?
