The predicted period should move to the next day when you say “not yet” on the confirmation. It was not counting the day of my cycle properly because, despite saying “not yet”, it still counted me in my predicted period.

Well, now it just freezes.
Also, yes, I’ve force quit, logged back in. App is up to date.

I have the same issue. Guess I'll just keep using my faithful period app until the bugs are worked out of this. 🙂

I have the same issue. My period was 5 days late, I kept saying every day "not yet", however, it still said I am in day whatever of my period... Everything is up to date, phone, watch. I understand that marking some sort of bleeding might not mean a period, but then how about having the option to log "period" as one of the symptoms, I have to manually adjust the period length to what it actually was, as the system doesn't do it on its own, it keeps the "predicted" data on.

@natswalks @Bujica Hey, nice to see you both! Thanks for reporting you're also experiencing this.
If you could, please confirm for me that you are both using the latest versions of the Fitbit app. We released iOS and Android updates this week and it would be great if you can confirm this is still happening on the latest versions.

@AlessFitbit, thank you for the reply. I just got a new update for the software last night, so I can't tell right now if it works or not, as my period ended. I'll tell you in 20 something days if my period is late again, hopefully it will work 🙂

@AlessFitbit Sorry for my late response, my app is also updated. My period has started but since it was a day late, now I'm missing a day ( usually 5, app is saying 4) I have tried to "slide the bar" but it doesn't want to "slide" into the following week. This would be so much easier if we could just enter the date it starts and the date it ends.

Thanks for stopping by @LostScientist42! Can you please tap a different day, and then view Fitbit Today again? Let me know if by doing this the app updates and correctly shows Period.
I'll be around, keep me in the loop!

I am no longer using the feature as it is poorly designed and does not cover the breadth and depth of menstrual health. The responses from Fitbit has largely been dismissive. There seems to have been no research into this. The feature is on par with apps designed for males to attempt to track the cycle of their female partners.
When will Fitbit take the concerns mentioned in a genuine manner?

Hi-
I'm having this issue as well: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Female-Health-Tracking/Cycle-Info-Should-Auto-Update-When-Period-is-...
Whenever my period doesn't start exactly on the day it's "supposed" to, the "Not Yet" button doesn't do anything. The predicted period data is still there, and the title still tells me how many days I am into this predicted cycle, rather than just, say, postponing the start date until n+1 days.
Update: I have suggested a fix for this in the suggestion forum, in case anyone wants to boost it: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/quot-Not-yet-quot-button-in-Female-Health-Tracke...

Thanks for jumping in here @marmitecake! Sorry to hear you're having inconveniences with your Predicted Period. Thanks for sharing the link of the Feature Suggestion you've created!
While in the period tracker, go to Settings in the top right corner. It should bring up the option to remove "predictions". Turn it off, set your period then turn predictions back on. This way it seems to just put in your average period days and not what the predicted end date would've been.
Give this a go and let me know if this works!

I can confirm that the "not yet" button does absolutely nothing. I am on the most updated app and OS and everything, yet, despite my cycle being 3 days late and me pressing "not yet" every day, it still tells me I am in day whatever of my period. Can you please explain what the functionality of "not yet" button is? (I need my predictions on, it helps me plan better for trips and life in general). Thank you.

Can you please let me know if you've tried what I suggested above?

Hi @MarreFitbit,
Thank you for your response, I was going to try that, but something very interesting happened in the meantime, maybe you can shed more light on this:
My period was supposed to start on Oct 27 according to prediction. I normally keep predictions on even though I am perimenopausal, so sometimes my cycles go completely bonkers, but it still helps me plan my life/trips/etc.
So, on Oct 27 it asked "is this correct?" I said no, nothing happened, it was showing Day 1 of my period. Next day, same thing, Day 2 of my period, even though I still said "No". Fast forward a few busy days when I didn't pay any attention to it as I was away and just synced very seldom and never touched the period tracker at all.
My period started on Nov 3rd.
I got home on November 4 when I decided I will try your suggestion, but noticed now it was showing Day 2 of my period, showing the period started on Nov 3rd and asking me if this is correct. So I had to click "yes" because this was the case. Now everything is showing right.
Do you have any idea how it made the jump from Oct 27th to Nov 3rd on its own?
Thank you!

Thanks for getting back and for sharing your good news @Bujica! By any chance, did you recently log out and log back into your Fitbit app? I mean, during these days you mentioned in your previous post?
