So, with the new Fitbit update, the resting heart rate line graph that *previously* gave us monthly, tri-monthly, and yearly views, with *daily* rhr datapoints, is now gone. In its place is a very dumbed-down version of *average* weekly or monthly resting heart rate data points for similar time periods. This is unacceptable for helping me to understand my menstrual and perimenopause symptoms as they relate to my cardiovascular presentation for a given day of my cycle.
Further, because I am in perimenopause, I use the resting heart rate data to help me predict my cycle for a given month. While I appreciate the fact that Fitbit is trying to do this for me in mysterious ways, I like to *directly* see the correlation between my daily resting heart rate and my monthly cycle. This is now nearly impossible to see or visualize, and using the health metrics “trends“ requires several clicks before I can pull up the rhr’s, and even then, they are simplified and rendered useless by the new interface.
Can this be fixed? I am wondering if other trackers, even those with required subscriptions, do a better job with this. Please help me understand why this was changed.

Fully agree. I've been using the RHR to roughly track my menstrual cycle and pregnancy. I appreciated the RHR overview over several months but now, Fitbit is totally useless in this regard.
