Hi ac7ss welcome, i am also new here (a week old haha) i have fitbit flex and my sister has a Jawbone UP, my flex costs half the price of an UP here in Iceland (she has just UP not UP24) and she is thinking about joining our side hehe, she also hates that the UP tangles in clothes etc
But again, welcome to fitbit and lets get fit togeather. Also there is a fitbit group on facebook if you want to join, just search fitbit. There are people from all around the world

Hi everyone! I knew aobut the activity stuff on FitBit but I am new to these forums. I'm excited to meet new people and chat with others.

I need to lose the equivalent of a person in weight, and I am part of my local health region's weight loss program. I am waiting for the coursesin the program to start.

Looking forward to chatting with like-minded people!

Hi everyone! My name is Keri, and as you'd guess, I'm new to Fitbit. I'm a pretty active person...I garden, hike, take dance, yoga, and pilates classes 2-3 times a week. So far I'm only hitting 10k steps per day, but I'm trying to work up to 15. Hope to be an active member of the community!

Smiley Sad Don't be sad! I get around 4k in steps from my job alone, so that helps. The important thing is that you're challenging yourself. Smiley Very Happy

Hi! I've got my FitBit Flex yesterday evening, so I'm brand new! I'm quite active person, so I hope to hit the 10k steps today! In summer I go running, swimming and trekking, when I can. I also go to work by foot, and it's about 1 km far from home... I'm curious to see how many steps I will take!

Hi,

I'm new too! Just found the Community today although I've had my Fit Bit since February 2014. I just bought the Aria a few weeks ago. I love the products and can't wait to get started!

I have been thinking about purchasing the Aria, but was wondering if it was worth it. Thank you for the review.

Hi, New today with a kind "howdy" to everyone. Hopefully, this summer I will see many good changes with moving around more with the abilites that I still have left to do so and also be more aware of what I am eating. Lose weight for better health. Always interested in how well I am sleeping. Have alot to learn not sure how to go about logging in foods daily. Drop me aline anytime. Sue-C

I just got my fitbit today too, got a great deal! I'm confused with the thing but hopefully going to figure it out soon. I used to have a bodybug a couple of years ago and it worked well but the arm band started to really bother me, i'm hoping this will be easier. Really need to drop some LB's!

There is an app called "myfitnesspal" you can get it in playstore (android atleast) and create an account and then connect the apps togather and the myfitnesspal app has a barcode scanner so you can scan everything in that you eat/drink and it makes it really easy to track youre intake, hope this helps

Fitbit... got it... wore it... love it!  Day one wasn't as successful as I had wished - but I'll just call this first week my "baseline data collection week" 🙂  It can only get better.

Because I work in an office, physical activity is mostly limited to my fingers on the keyboard.  But wearing my Fitbit does make me more aware.  For example, I took the stairs, parked farther from the office and went for a walk on break.  Do any other 'office bound' Fitbit users have helpful tips?

My daughter gave me my fitbit flex for Mothers Day.  I am at the correct  weight for my height but I  am in desparate need to get off the computer to exercise since I have pre diabetes. I find it  interesting that in a usual day I log on two miles just in the house.  My goal is 10k every day which helps  keep my blood pressure down and glucose low!!!    Staying fit is what FitBit is all about and I love the competition I have with my daughter now.  I  I just wish the wrist band was a bit more fashionable!

You will live it, I was really surprised at how little I moved, after getting my fitbit I found myself walking around the kitchen while waiting for the kettle to boil and now I am walking every day and feeling great.
Feel free to friend me so we can compare notes. Sue

Hi! Obviously I am new. I just got my flex today and am super excited about it. I am on WeightWatchers and had an activelink that I lost and chose not to replace since fitbit offered so much more. So here I am, so far I've lost about 10 lbs. I started at a gym and am doing strength training 2 days a week with a trainer and one day a week on my own. I am perpetually sore somewhere. I was hoping to find some fellow WW people to friend and keep up with. So yeah...HI!

Hi there
I am at Weight Watchers as well. Was paying 64.00 a month for their on line program. I gave theirs up and log my foods on the fit bit one.
I've had mine about a month. I was down 15 with 8 to go.
Good luck.
