My name is Jon
I live in the UK
My trusty Versa 3 just blew up after 4 years of unbelieveable fault free service. I would buy another however, I have recently lost 95% of my eye sight.
I've had 4 fitbits over the years and miss my friends now, I feel cut-off from the fitness world!
Towards the end of my sight, I couldn't really read any of the data and sometimes even the large display time. I go to the gym every day and either do 50 lengths swimming or cardio / weights. Currently I have no read outs on steps and the like.
What I would like, and am looking for your guidance. is a fitbit which has the following:
Large display time
Step counter, swim stroke counter, distance tracker
Find the phone feature (iPhone 14)
Take phone calls
Plus very little extra features that I won't be able to use.
What I got utterly frustrated with towards the end was pressing something on the display by accident and not being to read the resulting display.
I bought a flatbed microwave recently with just 4 buttons on it. Simplicity just made it a class above the rest. It is brilliant. I can use it with my eyes closed
Is there anything you can recommend?
Thanks in advance.
Describe me in one word, easy: Fitbitless
BTW Of the blind community only 7% of us cannot see anything. Do not assume that none of us can see anything and then recommend a tiny display which records steps, which is some advice i've seen

Hello there, you all!
I am currently not very active, unfortunately, and I wanna change that.
- I'm looking for friends on here, whether it is to motivate each other, just listen, or become exercise buddies! ^^ (I also created a group, where we all could meet up, - if anyone would be interested?).
I would be very happy to hear from you all! Feel free to message me! I wish you all the best!

Hi, I’m Sue. I’m in Texas. I’ve been using Fitbit since 2014 and am really sad they took away all the friends I’ve met through the years. 😭 I hope to make new ones. Are the challenges alnd badges all gone, too?

Levi here - I’m 39 (just about!) and looking to build up my friend list with similar people to motivate one another by comparison (not lots of messaging and endless chat, this isn’t Facebook!)
Preferably regular people rather than gym bunnies and athletes etc who’ll just make me feel inadequate straight away lol
I’ve a Fitbit skinny skin black thingy I can’t remember the name of now, not that it’s super important. I’ve lost tons of contacts due to the google changeover 😞 so Google-account people add me up. Based in Oxfordshire UK if that’s of interest for something or other.
I’ve a busy desk-based job, trying to shift 50lbs/3 stone in 12 months - add me if you’re on a similar journey and let’s inspire one another!
