  • How do you like to stay fit? I like Walking, I love Les Mills Body Pump, and weights also.

Hi All

 

  1.  I'm from the UK.
  2. My fitness goals are to remain thin and active, and pray Type II diabetes doesn't strike. (I was on the borderline of it last year. I lost 3.5 stone; started to exercise a lot; cleaned up my diet and went teetoal. These changes were sufficient - I'm in remission.)
  3. I like climbing, scuba diving (although I'm depth limited due to a PFO), swimming, yoga, hiking and lifting
  4.  I'm motivated by staying healthy
  5. My favourite guilty pleasure is, slightly eccentrically, pure maths. I went as far as getting a PhD in it, but I dpn't work in the area any more. I miss doing proper research.

Get my weight down to 95 kg by losing some excess belly fat.

Walking, running and boxing... as much as possible, and as much as healthy. I'm on the heavy side, so and I'd like to keep using my knees and back until I'm old.

 

> What motivates you?

Progress in sparring and boxing in general, being able to keep up with guys who have a lot less weight to carry around. Also, more muscle definition in the mirror doesn't hurt motivation.

Don't really think pleasure should be guilty... My most unhealthy pleasure... Cheese and a craft beer every now and then!

Hello everyone! 

I am looking for friends to keep me motivated! I don't do Facebook so I have no way to add friends or meet new people. I love to be challenged and am working on all aspects of my health; physical, mental and spiritual. I am learning meditation, yoga, and mindfulness, along with bodyweight exercise and running.

 

  1. Where in the world are you?  I am across the water from Seattle in a little village called Sequamish, WA.
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal? I am trying to lose a few pounds, get toned and strong, be mindful in daily activities and thought, learn to love myself
  3. How do you like to stay fit? Running w/ hill sprints, yoga, bodyweight exercise
  4. What motivates you? Finding inner peace, and peak physical health

I just got a fitbit lite for christmas and started out fitbit premium for new year.  I am from Genesee County Michigan.  Looking for new fellow runner friends to compete with and maybe even meet up and run together. Mostly looking for people around my area.  Looking to increase my running ability back up there and lose some extra weight.   So add me John D.

I'm just North of Fort Lauderdale Florida.

My goal is to get down to 165 lbs and workout 5 days a week.

I have exercise equipment at home but right now go to LA Fitness.

Reaching for my goals motivates me, the Fitbit is helping as well.

Guilty pleasure is I eat too late at night before I fall asleep.

What is your current health/fitness goal?

My current fitness goal is to lose about 28 lbs, however, my ultimate goal once I lose the 28 is to lose another 20, so grand total of 48 lbs.

In addition to my weight loss goals, I also want to lower my blood pressure and cholesterol levels.  I also want to be able to run 3 miles under 30 minutes.

 

How do you like to stay fit?

I like to jog, walk and hike.  I'm thinking of joining a flag football or kick ball team during the summer.

 

What motivates you?

The thought of having a healthier lifestyle and staying fit will make me feel confident and live longer. I want to eventually have a family of my own and I don't want to attempt to raise a feeling while being sick.

 

Favorite guilty pleasure.

Hi All,

I'm in Toronto Canada.  I want to lose weight, get fit and be healthy.  Right now I don't really stay fit so I'm looking for motivation.  I'm very competitive so competition motivates me.  My favourite guilty pleasure is sleeping - if left to my own devices I would sleep all day!

I'm in Fort Lauderdale, Fl..................hang in there!! I just got the Fitbit Charge 3 a few weeks ago and still learning how to use it but so far it's helped me in my motivation.
