Hi everyone! My name is Cheri. I am a mother of 6, ages 2 to 23. I am a Registered Nurse for over 12 years now.
1. Where in the world are you? Chicago, Illinois
2. What is your current health/fitness goal? To monitor sleep stages as I am a diagnosed narcoleptic. I was just diagnosed, but have had symptoms since 5 years of age. Also, my heart rate is always really high, so I want to bring that down a bit. I am usually in the high 90's or 100's
3.How do you like to stay fit? Playing with the kids, hiking, and swimming
4.What motivates you? Caffeine. LOL Mainly my children
5.Favorite guilty pleasure? chocolate, caffeine, coffee
Am interested in any other narcoleptics using the fitbit to monitor sleep stages. I have very fragmented sleep, go into REM right away, and wake up in REM. That sometimes causes me to have sleep inertia and sleep drunkenness, which is kinda scary at times.
Feel free to message me about anything, and I will do my best to answer.

Hi everyone, I have just got a Fitbit Inspire 2
Where in the world am I? I live in the UK in leafy Surrey. Lucky to have green spaces near home for exercise and relaxation.
My current health/fitness goals are to lose 14 pounds and be more active. I used to walk 3 miles each way between the train station and my office but I changed jobs and now drive to visit clients. It’s been more difficult to fit exercise into my day.
How do I like to stay fit? Walking and dancing modern jive and salsa. During lockdown I discovered dance classes online I do in my kitchen.
What motivates me? Doing things with friends. Some of my friends have a Fitbit and are very competitive so I thought I’d join the fun.
My favourite guilty pleasure is cheesecake.

I would love to figure out how to add people. I used to use Fitbit and they have made adding friends so much more difficult. Thanks

Okay, Hi there,
1. Where am I?
NYC --- social worker, (essential worker in remote location) and in dire need of exercise and stress monitoring
2. Current fitness/health goal?
Understand the profile of my stress, implement interventions, create relaxation, and exercise regimen --built up to 30 min/day in elliptical.
3. How do you stay Fit?
(feeling very guilty right now) Walking in the summer. Want to initiate elliptical in winter.
4. MOTIVATION?
Gradual increase of lung capacity, stay healthy, improve quality of life. Creative and advocacy work motivate me..
5. Guilty pleasure?
Reading, writing, making stuff, binge watching... I need an app that will make me feel guiltier about activities that have me sitting.

Hello Fitbitters:
I bought an Inspire (the original one) earlier this year and loved it so much I upgraded to the Sense last week!
Where in the world are you? I live in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country in Kutztown, PA. Yes, it is the home of the Kutztown Folk Festival and a university's - but not much else.
What is your current health/fitness goal? As background, 13 years ago I was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, which left me with a drop left foot and a serious hitch in my get-a-long. As a result, my fitness goal is to strengthen my core, hamstrings, glutes, etc. so I can walk farther, faster and straighter. I have lost 14 lbs and want to lose a couple more so my weight starts with a "13", i.e., so I could make women's boxing LIGHTWEIGHT class.
How do you like to stay fit? For years, I ran distance races (up to 16 miles); now I stay closer to home and take short hikes, use the treadmill and elliptical and visit my physical therapist twice a week.
What motivates you? Aside from an innate inner drive, other motivations include: my physical therapist, my fitbit, my closet full of beautiful size 6 clothes and the endorphin highs from working out.
Favorite guilty pleasure: dry martinis with olive stuffed with blue cheese, peanut butter, peanut butter ice cream, Reese's peanut butter cups, etc. (add peanut butter to it, and its my "pleasure").
Looking forward to getting to know you all. -- Susan E.

Does anyone know where there's maybe a chart showing the various options available (eg "Bike") and how to transition among them?

I live in MN and have used my Ionic for 3+ years now. My family keeps pushing me to the apple watch they all 5 of them have, but as long as my Ionic works, I'll stick with it. My main reason for joining this forum is this: I get no less than 2 emails a week enticing me to upgrade to a new Fitbit device. Here's a thought, why not offer a trade in program to get users to upgrade? When this Ionic dies (and let's face it, it will), I will be tempted to switch to the apple product like me family.
Thoughts?????????

Im Wendy, I live on Gold Coast, Australia. Ive not long had my fitbit and love it. However, since the rest of Australia went into daylight savings 2 weeks ago my sleep tracker has gone heywire.
I have reset the time to eastern standard as Qld does not have daylight savings. Ive used my computer and my phone to do this. However, it seems to miss a day and I have to log it manually, even then it doesnt update properly. I do night shift so I am awake sometimes and it doesnt register my daytime sleep as the same day. I might be asleep 3 times in a 24 hr period. Can anyone help me. Thank you

1. I live in central Pennsylvania. Used to travel frequently before Covid. Retired and loving it.
2. This is my third Fitbit. I have a Charge 2 and 3. Purchased the Source because of its ECG capability. I have an arrhythmia and my cardiologist suggested an apple product but I have an Android phone. I hope I will be happy with this device since it was very expensive.
3. I stay fit by dancing Tap, ballet, ballroom,
weight lifting, biking and walking. I exercise 6 days a week. I'm 68 soon to be 69. I'm a mother of triplet daughters and 1 son.
4. I'm motivated by my friends and my desire to stay healthy, loose weight and lower my BP. I have genetic issues that come into play.
5. My guilty pleasures are binge watching netflix and family ancestry research. Bev M

I feel the same way. Been away from the for some time and much had changed. I am just starting up also; perhaps we can motivate each other for accountability! I don't have a weight goal but 10-15 lbs sounds like a good plan for me too!

for steps try Taekwondo. I get so many steps in my 40 min class and I get a lot of cardio. Most Taekwondo classes will start you off slow and build you up.!!! I highly recommend taekwondo
