Hey, I’ve been working on both fitness and managing stress better. I saw that Fitbit tracks things like stress management and mindfulness sessions — do those actually help? Just wondering if anyone here uses those features regularly and if they’ve noticed a difference in their mood or focus.

Hey! I’ve actually been using the stress management stuff on my Fitbit for a bit now (I have the Versa 4), and honestly, it’s been helpful. The breathing sessions are simple, but they really do help me calm down, especially if I’m feeling overwhelmed during the day.
I also check the Stress Management Score most mornings — it’s not perfect, but it kind of gives me a heads-up if I need to take it easy that day or get more sleep. I wouldn’t say it solves stress completely, but it makes me more aware of it and helps me stay on top of things.
If you’re already tracking fitness, I’d say definitely try the mindfulness tools too. They’re quick and easy to fit in.

Hello @Arthur_Shelby00
Please be aware that the Fitbit Coach feature has some free sessions for stress & anxiety reduction. There are other sessions that require a Premium subscription to access.
Personally, I use The Tapping Solution & Calm apps to help me with stress & mindfulness. The Tapping Solution uses an active form of mediation, which I really like. They have a whole set of mini sessions (~2 minutes) to help relieve Anxiety. I find them very helpful & easy to slip into my daily schedule.

I like my Fitbit and overall think it serves its purpose quite well, but I have to say I think the device itself causes a bit of stress! The glitches etc which inevitably occur can cause unnecessary worry. Just yesterday I had a heart spike up to 147 while gently walking. Checking manually and on two other apps, they all showed around 85. This happens every so often, especially while moving and isn’t conducive to reducing stress! As I said, overall I find the device good - it can at times put your mind at ease and maybe the breathing and meditation things help, but there is the flip side, too.
