Fitbit for Mental Health tracking? Depressive, mania, etc...

Hello all!

Does anyone combine using their Fitbit, especially the sleep function but also as a proxy for overall aerobic exercise exposure, with tracking their daily moods over extended periods of time in relation to Manic/Depressive episodes?

As I come out of a longer depressive episode myself (undiagnosed bipolar), I want to establish a new habit of tracking moods and correlating to data points like sleep and aerobic exercise to try and identify patterns, triggers, long-term trends.

Would love to hear more from first-hand experiences!

Thanks.

Hi @BernardoColo Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thanks for sharing that topic. Personally, I use and I really like the sleep function, I have set a time asleep goal and I got motivated when I see every morning that I have reached that goal.

You can try setting up different goals, like your steps or the weekly exercise and I'm sure they will help you to fell better and motivated.

Take care.
