Hiking the South Carolina Botanical Garden

Today was a different kind of day, visiting Clemson, SC, and hiking through the South Carolina Botanical Garden. Much shorter and much more level hiking trails than the National Forests offered, and lots of beautiful flowers. Just a short walk from the gardens was the school's Geology Museum, which was also fascinating. Towards the end of the visit, we got caught in a downpour rain, which really cooled us off!   But, the day did provide a 4 mile hike with 18 floors of rolling hills. If you visit Clemson, don't miss their Botanical Garden & Geology Museum - it is a great way to get some steps in!
