Hi everyone!

I started my personal journey to get healthier in the end of Feb-beginning of March 2016. A bit about me...

I started seeing a chiropractor in January due to chronic lower back pain from falling down a flight of stairs in 2014. After my consultation I learned my neck was to straight, my spine was out of alignment and my pelvis was tipped to the left which put extra weight on my hip and caused early arthritis, I'm only 30 😞

I was shocked by the amount of arthritis I could see on the radiographs. I figured my best course of action was to lose as much weight as I could to slow down progression (I weighed 229 at the time).

I needed a change. I had been interested in clean eating but didn't know where to start. Luckily my doctor did. He gave me all the information I needed, I took one of his grocery trips where he showed and explained what to look for on labels, what to eat, what to avoid...I started strength training and high intensity metabolic conditioning, wanting to hit it hard.

Since starting I've lost 42 pounds, I've had several set backs but the important thing is to not give up and just keep going. Two weeks ago a good friend of mine gave me a fitbit charge HR and I love it.

I'd really love some friends who will do challenges and things, motivate, and have fun doing it!

Hiya, everybody!  Just strapped on my new FitBit Blaze yesterday after tinkering around with a used FitBit One for a few days.  I'm a 44 year old mom of five who's realized I can't blame it on baby weight anymore (my youngest will be nine this summer)!  I'm looking for some motivated friends so we can cheer each other along 🙂  https://www.fitbit.com/user/3DRLDQ

Hello Guys

I have had my Charge HR for a month and I feel so much better being active now than how I was before. Also looking for some friends, so feel free to add me =]. Although I work in the office with my fitbit I find myself doing walks around the office that I never would have done before lol. Anyways...Hope everyone has a great day and reach your goals.

I just got my Fitbit Blaze yesterday! I had wanted a Fibbit for a long time. At first I was going to get the Alta, then decided I wanted the Charge HR and then after a lot of research decide on the Blaze. I figure save and get the one I wanted the most. I'm super excited. I was using my phone to track steps. Boo. Loving my Blaze so far. It lays really flat on my wrist and don't even notice I have it on. I'm hoping to average 10,000 - 15,000 a day and hopefully bump up that number over time. I work from home so I try to take minibreaks every hour to get in steps and then take a long walk at lunch (along with trying to get to the gym 4-5 days a week). At the gym I like to row like a Shieldmaiden, and (attempt to) run like the Flash. Hahahahahahahaha! I also like to hike in my spare time.

Not many of my friends have a Fitbit. I would love fitness minded friends. Please feel free to add me.

I'm also a huge music junkie. I love discovering new music. Especially music that is great to walk and workout to. Let's challenge and support each other. I'm up for all challenges. Let's turn this mutha out! Fitbit the best video game you can own! 😜

Hey guys ! New to Fitbit . Had a busy life working as a doctor and found it difficult to encorporate exercise into my lifestyle . Since I got the Fitbit I started doing small things like parking a bit further away from work and walking , talking the stairs instead of the lift . And lo and behold I started to see some results ! Have recently joined the gym again and extremely motivated ! Would really appreciate people adding me as I could do with some healthy competition .
