Picking up roadside litter is a good activity

I routinely go out on litter patrol walks in my community.  It's surprising how many steps you can get without realizing it.  It's also surprising how quickly you can fill a trash bag.  I sometimes wonder if people driving by, purposely litter just to keep me "employed".
