I know everyone likes different things, but I was wondering if you have any suggestions for music or podcasts that you listen to during your exercise routines and that make you feel motivated to complete your workout!
I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music, but I find R&B and Rock music in general to be very helpful while exercising, and for Podcasts I like to listen to true crime stories or folklore tales. What about you?

I have a play list in Spotify called Toe Tapping Harmony . It keeps me energized and moving quickly.

Depends on the workout.
Running: any random talking-only podcast + ticking metronome (so podcast must not have any background music or any music at all)
Cycling: any podcast will do, long enough to last the whole ride
Indoor HIIT/circuit workouts: music, usually rock/metal but nothing that could be distracting
Hiking/Bouldering/Climbing: nothing
For podcasts, I have some preferences but usually, I just grab whatever Spotify recommends as I'm not really focusing on the content (sometimes at the end of the run or bike ride I have no idea what the podcast was about :D).

Thanks @SunsetRunner! When the workout I'm doing is more intense, I definitely need music that keeps me very energized, or just something that takes my mind off the actual workout a little bit. 😀
That's a good point @t.parker, different workouts require different levels of attention, podcasts are great for running or indoor training in my case! 😎

@DavideFitbit have you tried audiobooks? I tried and didn't work for me. In the middle, I had no idea what the plot was about. Audiobooks are way more distracting than podcasts, they require more attention. Speaking of audiobooks, I gave a go last year to "Zombies, Run!" game which is more like an audiobook that wants you to keep running. Was fun for a while but I got bored with it quite quickly. However, I know some people got hooked for good.

Oh yeah, I tried audiobooks for a while @t.parker, and I really wanted it to work, cause it seemed like a perfect time to listen to them and be even more productive, but it didn't work for me either, at least with the workouts I was doing. I always lost track of what I was listening to and didn't understand the plot after a while haha 😭. I prefer podcasts or music now.

This is going to sound totally cheesy, but I LOVE listening to anything ABBA when I exercise!

Not at all @DramaQueenDiva! Sometimes I'm in the mood for some disco music as well 🕺🕺
This particular genre can lift your spirits very quickly hehe.

I listen almost exclusively to Broadway during workouts. Dance numbers are great for cardio!
