Who has the Most Lifetime Fitbit Steps?

I thought it might be fun to see some of the "Total Lifetime Steps" figures from a few of the more diehard Fitbiters out there. I've been using my Fitbit Ultra for just about 2 years, and noticed that I've now gone past the 5 Million Steps mark (I'm currently at: 5,018,549 steps).

While 5 Million Steps may seem like a lot to some newer Fitbit users, I can tell you for sure, that my wife easily has me beat, since she now has logged over 7½ Million Steps (and we both started using our fitbits right around the same time).

But of course, I'm sure we could actually see some really amazing high figures if some of the more agressive Fitbit users would like to share their current Lifetime totals with the community.

I got my first Fitbit in March 2011, so my 11 year Fit-versary was this past March. Forgot to check in with my annual update, but I noticed a few days ago that I've gone over 90M.  WhooHoo!

Sounds great but unless FItBit states those 90 million plus steps in your Life Achievement Stats …it means nothing

That’s Tremendous but unless FItBit confirms those 90 million plus in your life achievement Stats steps it is not verifiable!

@Vidd -- Thanks.

@dcorry10 -- you can edit your prior posts to remove personal info like phone numbers. Just go to where the three dots are on the post.

The screen shot I showed in the prior post is what Fitbit reports.  But here is a cut and paste of my Life Achievement Stats:

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT STATS

Steps | 90,106,759

Floors | 346,666

Distance | 45,774.36 mi

@bigfoot1962 -- That's a bunch for six years. They really add up over time. You can find the lifetime achievement stats by clicking your profile picture on the web dashboard. Just cut (copy like you would from a word document) from there and post here.

according to FitBit I have 138,607,305 steps, 77,515 miles and 86,370 floors

I am way down on Floors, only 25%

90Million in 6 years is 41K a day, wow! I only manage 35K for 11 years.

My next target is 150Million steps, sometime between 14 May 2023 and 23 June 2023 is my best guess.

@Baltoscott - Congrats on 90 million steps! When do you foresee 100 million happening?

@yu4517 - Wow, that's an amazing amount of steps! I can't even fathom 138 million steps! And all those miles! That's so inspiring!

@yu4517 -- that's a heap of steps. Just to be clear, it took me 11+ years to get to 90M, so your pace is a lot higher than mine!  Sadly, the Fitbits I've been wearing the most over the past year or so don't count floors, so my stats on that metric haven't moved much.

@Heather-S -- The last couple of years have been around 6.9M steps. My guess is I'll hit 100M late 2023 or early 2024.

@dcorry10, Why not simply believe what is being said?

I can't "verify" mine either, not even having a Fitbit device, and since switching from Windows to an Apple, so my trusty pedometer of a different brand now doesn't link up with my PC, but that doesn't bother me, as I know what I've managed to do, and keep an accurate record in a spreadsheet.

Good to see you back, @yu4517:!  Last time, you said that you had had to reduce your daily steps - how's it going at the moment?

I recently reached 10,000 miles and I should have over 25M steps by the end of the year.

My lifetime averages are pretty low because my first two years with Fitbit were kind of inactive, including a 4 month period of not wearing my Fitbit at all. I had less than 1M steps those first two years, so they years really bring down my averages. Since 2018, I’ve done 21M steps which is around 14K steps per day.

Great effort.

I'm 83 now and slowing with age related issues, but Fitbit is still my daily companion.. Have been using Premium most of the time.. Fortunately I have a 2m gradient leading up to our house and that keeps my heart pumping.

Just past 140Million steps.
Not quite 82 so I have a bit too catch up.
Average is 35,239 steps per day for 3,976 days.

I will reach 4000 days very soon. My target is then 7090 days on my 90th Birthday.

So far nobody has reported more than 140 Million steps, but has anybody recorded for more than 3,976 days.

That's a heck of a strong average, @yu4517!  I'm in my tenth year of counting steps, so not far behind you in days (3540) but some way back in average steps per day - 27107.  Over the last six years, i.e. from January 1st, 2017, my average daily steps count comes out as 33607.  I'm getting slowly closer to your huge total, but I should think you'd have to be around for quite a bit longer than your 90th birthday for me to pass you!  🙂
