- You pace the house to get to a particular figure before going to bed
- You sit down when recharging as you don't want to 'waste' any steps
- You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps

Went to the doctor earlier this week for a checkup and he spent more time looking at and talking about my Flex. He'd seen the commercials, had other patients wearing them, so I took mine off and showed him the tracker. We discussed where locally to get it, the smartphone app, the forums, how it works and motivates me. I have a feeling he may have looked it up online. He's a jogger and really big into fitness.
When I paid, on my printed instructions, he put "Light up the FItBit!" and that was the best medical advice I've ever gotten!
Addicted and trying to spread the word.....

Had the exact same conversation with my Doc yesterday at my routine diabetic check up.
He wanted to know what I'd been doing to lose 12kg in 3 months & get my best HbA1c readings ever (5.6 - NON- diabetic levels!!)
Told him it helps to have an addictive personality type but it's definarely been my little miricle in a plastic band 🙂
Now if we can just convert the world what a healthy place we'd live in 🙂

@Do-or-Di Way to go! Think of all the health professionals waiting for the same addiction we have!

I just had to edit that when I realised it's only been 3 months since chrissy - I forget sometimes I haven't always been a fibit addict - my flex just feels like part of me these days 🙂

In my judgment these trackers are going to become something big, the inclusion of ever more people wanting to be more active and healthy, the whole concept, trackers, website, community and great results delivered with the many challenges pushing to personal bests and badges, all for the betterment of our well being.

OK...This has happened to me several times...
I go to bed early and wake up before midnight to go to the bathroom...
Thought process: "I have made my step goal for the day, should I 'hold it' until after midnight to start on tomorrow's goal?" Answer: Usually "yes"...yeah, I'm addicted...

WARNING .... This addiction is progressive, leading to total lose of perspective and logical thought processes!
Dropped a knife on my foot this morning and my first thought as I watched the blood pool on the floor was ....................."Man, that's gunna make getting my steps today a bit*h"
LOL!
PS: The foot's OK - looked worse than it was. And if I just break my remaining steps into 500 step blocks I'll still be able to make green by bedtime!!

I had a test recently and they made me take off my flex! Only lost a few steps but I wasnt happy!
SUPER SAD- I won't be able to log this weekend. Going skiing (in Scotland) and travelling in a minibus with a load of students, skis, boots and other equipment/kit. I might log my meals on MFP, but I guarantee they probably won't be healthy. I've stocked up on food that won't break easily eg. if I carry it in my rucksack on the slopes. My Fitbit will hate me, but skiing burns a lot of calories, so I hope I won't be TOO MUCH in the wrong. I have done heaps of exercise this week, although my number of steps doesn't agree because I swam, spin class and walked all morning, but hey ho. Will probably be eating pizza tomorrow night or something.

I've been known to waqlk back and forth in the shower just to keep moving.
Everything I do reverts back to "How many steps can I get out of this?" in my brain!
A Fitbit Addict and pround of it!
