A funny - off road driving and flights of stairs

This isn't a problem, but rather a funny (or so I think).

Last weekend, we took my husband's truck on a 4-wheel drive trail in Joshua Tree.  The super bumpy road netted me 100 flights of stairs on 2 separate days.  I felt like I was cheating, but it was actually kind of funny.  I always keep my One clipped to my waist band.  I guess the bumpy road, slow speed and elevation gain tricked my One into thinking I was actually climbing.  😉

@CarolS I hope you're doing well! That's kind of funny! But yes, as @WendyB mentioned, those kind of roads will add extra steps and floors because of the movement, the inner sensor of your One thinks you were actually doing some activities! Did your altitude changed during the ride? That could explain the extra floors! Did it tracked extra steps too?

Nonetheless, there is a workaround you can try to delete them. It is about manually logging an activity in that period of time you got the steps as "Driving". That should take them off. Take a look at this post to get the steps on how to do it.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
